Shanali, a brilliant village girl whose ambitious mother sends her to a prestigious urban school after she aces her Grade 5 scholarship exam. There, her academic excellence triggers a fierce rivalry with Kaveesha, a wealthy, pampered classmate who looks strikingly similar to her.
