Biography

Bee Nickerson is a 27-year-old actor, choreographer, and physical theatre performer from Connecticut, USA, based in Liverpool, UK. Bee is both a theatre and screen actor with a specific love for period pieces. Highlighted roles include Hippolyta from A Midsummer Night’s Dream and originating the role of April in Julia Whitten’s The Red Line: An Anthology. From 2022 to 2023, Bee was part of Live A Little Theatre Co., a Liverpool-based devised theatre company, where, in addition to being an actor, she also served as their marketing and movement director. They built and performed 2 shows: Arcadia ‘87 and Missed Connections. The company has recently performed across England in various fringe festivals and at Vault Festival in London. In 2022, the company won the Spirit of the Fringe Award at the Liverpool Fringe Festival. After the company disbanded, Bee shifted her focus towards working on film. While she maintains her love and passion for the stage, she adores working on camera and has been fortunate to have performed in various short films. One of the highlights of these was a 40-minute fantasy short film entitled Dying Breed, where she played the role of Alora. She had the opportunity to do Motion Capture work as well as work with VFX. She received her BA in Theatre Performance from Western Connecticut State University in 2021 and her Master's Degree in Acting from the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts...
