Nima Beheshtinia

My name is Nima Beheshtinia from Iran. An Independent Filmmaker, Writer, Composer, Actor and Painter. I was born in August 2004. My nurses were from three religions: Zoroastrian, Muslim and Christian. I was born into an artistic family. My mother was painter and my father was a theater lighting designer. Since I was a child, when I was alone, my parents would always put the latest animations and cartoons from around the world on CDs for me to watch and from that moment I fell in love with stories, Cinema and the magic of it. My mother and grandmother were always telling me new stories and I was immersed in the world of stories. As a teenager, I started writing rap lyrics with my best friend and then we didn’t have the budget to buy beats and rent a studio, so I started learning how to compose songs on my own. After three years I was able to make my own single tracks and albums. After that I was still thirsty to empty the stories in my head, so I decided to write a book and make my own Feature Film with no support and budget. I painted on two canvas for my Film Poster and Book. And after six months, I wrote my first book and then made my first feature film from it after two and half years.
